The AAA Insurance 200 starts Friday, July 24^th and is part of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. It will be at the O'Reilly Race Park, and is presented by JD Byrider. Let's talk about the track first, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a front stretch distance of 699 feet, exactly equal to the backstretch distance. It's an oval that actually looks exactly oval and the banking on the straights is an easy 2 degrees. It jumps up to seven however on the turns, 7.5 in some places and the circuit itself is .686 miles. Greg Biffle and Joe Ruttman hold the truck records here, with Ruttman the qualifying and Greg Biffle owning the race record.

In 2008 the Camping World Truck Series race was called the Power Stroke Diesel 200, and presented by AAA Hoosier Insurance of Indiana. That race happened on the 25^th of July last year, and Johnny Benson was the big winner at the checkered flag with Toyota. For five years between 1995 and 2000, th race was held on Thursday evening, but in 2001 it switched to Friday, but still held under the lights on Friday night.

This race also takes a support role for the nearby Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, run at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway the same weekend, as well as being run at the same time as the Kroger 200. Last year's race saw Benson make Bill Davis Racing proud, and Ron Hornaday was the runner up, driving for Kevin Harvick. Erik Darnell of Roush Fenway came in third, Matt Crafton in fourth and Sheby Howard and his Chevrolet took fifth for ThorSport Racing. Friday, May 29^th is the AAA Insurance 200 and forty teams are scheduled to run this race, as it takes place at the Dover International Speedway.
