This Friday is the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 and it takes place Friday, May 8th, on the Darlington Speedway in South Carolina. This speedway is famous for its angles, banks and difficult turns and even bears the nickname 'The Track too Tough to Tame'.

The race last year saw Tony Stewart take home the first place prize of more then $47,000 while Clint Bowyer and David Reutimann took second and third. Fourth placed was scooped up by number 91, Todd Bodine. Number 66 was Steve Wallace with a prize of $24,000.
The track features a circuit that is 1.366 miles long and the race is 147 laps of some of the most intense racing in NASCAR. The first two turns bank at 25 degrees and the third and fourth both at 23. Another nickname the track bears is 'Lady in Black'. Both nicknames were given to the circuit by fans and drivers.

This year the drivers compete compete for more than 1.1 million dollars in prizes. Michael Waltrip set the race record in 1992 with a speed of more than 138 miles per hour.
