The first Nationwide Series race of the 2010 season is the Drive4COPD 300 live from the Daytona International Speedway, in Daytona Beach, Florida, which is also hosting the Gatorade Duel, and the Sprint Cup's Daytona 500, as well as a Camping World Race called the NextEra Energy Resources 300. The Daytona International Speedway, built in 1959 is a track that sees some of the best of NASCAR throughout the season. This isn't the only Nationwide Series race that is hosted here, the track also features the Subway Jalapeno 250, which was won last year by Clint Bowyer and this year will be held in July. The Daytona circuit is a 2.5 mile tri-oval with thirty one degree turns and the ability to transform into a variety of tracks including the motorcycle course and sports car course. It is one of the best and most versatile tracks in all of NASCAR.

The Drive4COPD was won last year by Tony Stewart, and was titled the Camping World 300. This weekend will be a busy one for the Daytona Beach track as the Sprint Cup hosts the Gatorade Duel and the Daytona 500 as well as the Camping World Truck Series hosting a race called the NextEra Energy Resources 300.
