Well, we are three races into the Sprint Cup Series Race for the Chase, and there have been three different winners for each of the three races. Mark Martin won the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire, which was followed by the AAA 400 at Dover, won by Jimmie Johnson. Most recently we had the Price Chopper 400 Presented by Kraft Foods, which saw Tony Stewart come out in first place, followed by Jeff Gordon, Greg Biffle and Juan Pablo Montoya. So, who's going to win the chase? It's impossible to even conjecture at this point, being a ten race competition. However, Brian Vickers will have a hard time rising to the top of the standings which a 250 point deficit, and Kasey Kahne is nearly 200 points down. However, for the rest of the competitors it would be hard to predict a winner at this point. We still have the Charlotte, Martinsville, Talladega, Texas, Phoenix and Homestead Races to look forward to as well as the race from Fontana this Sunday.

The driver's standings have Mark Martin currently in the lead with 5551 points and Jimmie Johnson just eighteen points below him. Third on the standings is Juan Pablo Montoya who trails the leader by 51 points, and then Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch who are 67 and 91 points down respectively. After that in order is Denny Hamlin, Jeff Gordon, Greg Biffle, Ryan Newman and Carl Edwards, with the aforementioned Kahne and Vickers in 11^th and 12^th places.
