This weekend Assen, Netherlands will be home to the Superbike World Championships. The 2009 GP is going to be strong as riders deliver high-octane racing action. The Superbike World Championship competes with the Road Racing World Championship for the title of premier motorcycle competition. The superbike is unique because it features bikes that are based on production models.

The race will take place on the TT Circuit Assen and 2008 saw Troy Bayliss take 6 of the 14 races that season, and Ducati has a reputation for winning in this Championship so far garnering 22 out of 34 races.
The Assen TT Circuit will be the location of fast moving superbikes Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 24th -26th and it's anyone's guess who will take home the Assen trophy. The first race of the season saw Noriyuki Haga and Ben Spies win race one and two respectively in Australia, while Spies took both races on March 14th in Qatar. The race previous to Assen was earlier this month in Spain, and Noriyuki Haga grabbed both races on the Valencia track.
After the Assen race is concluded there are still 10 races to go in the Superbike Championships, but the winner of this race could easily point the direction of the championship title, since other riders – even without a win yet this year – could easily take a couple of races and vault to the top of the championships as a favorite. Ducati riders Fabrizio and Laconi are 4th and 6th in rankings while Honda's Haslam is currently in 5th rank. Ducati continues its winning trend as Noriyuki Haga is also on a a Ducati.

Your membership will assure you front row action as the smell of fuel and the sound of roaring, overclocked engines fill the air at the TT Circuit. Will Haga and Spies tuck another win in their belts, or will another rider moves to the front of the line, surprising us all. Anything can happen at Assen.
